The short version.

I only collect what you give me. If you sign up or take the Maps Score, I get your email address, your first name if you add it, your quiz score and the area you scored lowest in. That’s so I can send you the weekly tips and make them more relevant to you.

Video breakdowns

If you ask for a free video breakdown, I also get your business name, what you do, your suburb or service area, your Google Maps link and anything you tell me about what’s bugging you. I use that to look at your public Google profile and record your video. You’re added to the weekly tips too.

I only post your breakdown on my socials if you tick the box saying I can. Even then, I blur your business details unless you tell me otherwise, and I check with you before anything goes up. Change your mind any time and I’ll take it down.

Where it lives

Your details are stored with Beehiiv, the email platform I use to send the newsletter, and breakdown requests are also stored with Netlify, the company that hosts this site. Both are US companies, so your details are stored overseas. I don’t sell or share your details with anyone else. Your individual quiz answers aren’t stored anywhere except your own browser, and they clear when you close the tab.

Unsubscribing

Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you’re off the list.

Seeing or deleting your data

Email me at daine@dainereid.com and I’ll tell you what I hold or delete it.

Analytics

This site doesn’t use tracking cookies or ad pixels. If you arrive from a link with tracking tags (like my TikTok bio), I note which platform you came from alongside your signup so I know where to spend my time.
